Day

1

We will arrive to Barcelona and according to the landing time, we will meet our tour bus that will accompany us for the rest of the tour, heading out towards the Montserrat Mountain, we will visit the mountain and its monastery, hidden in the mountain cracks. There, the Black Madonna, the holiest figure to the Catalan people, resides.

After the visit we will continue north, to the small principality of Andorra, where will have dinner and spend the night.

We start the day going up to the Tristaina Lakes, right on the border between Andorra & France, three beautiful glacial Lakes that are really easy to hike to, and the view is amazing.

Going back down and crossing Andorra toward the Noguera Pallaresa Valley where will end our day with a nice local dinner in a very good local hotel, located in Sort, the region's capital.

This morning we go up to the village of Espot, the gateway to the Aiguestortes national park, we divide into Taxies, big Defender Land Rovers who are the only way to go in the park. We'll go up to one of the highest view points, and make our way down by foot. The trail is good and it's a nice and light hike down.

After lunch and some free time in the village of Espot, we continue to one of the most beautiful places in the Catalan Pyrenees - The Aran Valley, where we will have dinner in a local restaurant and stay the night.

Exciting Morning! We travel to France through the mountain passes where the famous Tour de France passes by, reaching one of the highlights of the French Pyrenees - the Gavarnie circus: a natural form created by a glacier, millions of years ago.

From Gavarnie we travel to the Medouse Cave - full of stalactites, stalagmites, Eccentrics, Columns and petrified waterfalls.

Later we will arrive to our hotel in Lourdes for some dinner and overnight

This morning we go back down to the border, this time to visit one of the must places of the French Pyrenees - Lac de Gaub, a glacier Lake surrounded by mountains.

After the visit we continue on breathtaking roads from the Tour de France that aventually leads us to our hotel in Spain, near the city of Ainsa.

Today we are dedicating to the Ordesa and the lost mountain national park. We arrive at the village of Torla, and take the special bus shuttles inside to the park, we will take the hike up along the 3 waterfalls along the way.

After lunch we will visit the Añisclo canyon on the edge of the park, returning to our hotel for another night.

We start our morning coming down from the Pyrenees, stopping at the village of Alquezar in the middle of Sierra de Guara ridges. It's a unique and beautiful spot to do a light walk, have a local pastry and continue on our way to the southern Province of Catalunya - Tarragona.

We will arrive to the picturesque village of Horta de Sant Joan, where Picasso spent to important times in his life, we will hear the history while paddling downhill on the old train railway, amazing experience, going through bridges and tunnels. We will stay in a hotel in the area.

After breakfast, we visit a special olive oil mill, producing a variety of olives for the manufacturing of high end olive oil for luxury hotels and restaurants. We will get to taste the different oils and even get some to take home.

After lunch we will arrive to the Catalan wine country - Priorat region, we visit a boutique winery, have some tasting and later have dinner and stay in one of the best hotels in the region.

We take our time this morning, arriving in Barcelona for a guided tour in the Old City of Barcelona. 

Later, some free time and a transfer to the airport depending on our departure flight.
